What Is Lenalid capsules (Lenalidomide)?

• Lenalid holds Lenalidomide, which refers to a group of medicines which affect how your immune system works.

What is lenalidomide used for?

How should I take lenalidomide?

Read all directions on your prescription tag and read all medication guides. Use the medicine correctly as directed. Never share your medicine with another person, even if they have the same disease you have.

• Take lenalid capsule whole, do not break, chew, or open it.
• Take medicine with a full glass of water. 
• Take medicine at the same time every day.
• Lenalid Capsule can be taken with or without meals
• Lenalidomide can raise your risk of bleeding or infection. You will need regular medical tests.
• You take lenalidomide every day for three weeks and then have a break for one week. This is one cycle of treatment. Then you start the next period. 
• If you misremember to take lenalidomide at your usual time but less than 12 hours have crossed, take the capsule right away. If more than 12 hours have crossed, do not take the pill but take your next dose at the usual time.

What should I avoid while taking lenalidomide?

• Never use Lenalid if you are pregnant. Even one dose of lenalidomide can create critical, life-threatening birth deficits or death of a baby if the mother or the father is using this medicine at the time of fertilization or during pregnancy.
• Use birth control to stop pregnancy, whether you are a man or a woman. For women: Use two forms of birth control beginning four weeks before you start taking buy lenalidomide and ending four weeks after you stop taking it. For men: Use a condom to stop pregnancy through your treatment, and for up to 4 weeks after your treatment ends.
• Buy lenalidomide online may create blood clots. Quit using this medicine and call your doctor at once if you have signs such as unexpected numbness, sharp headache, difficulties with vision or speech, chest pain, conciseness of breath, coughing up blood, or swelling in your arm or leg.
• You must not give blood or sperm while you are using lenalid, and for at least four weeks after your last dosage. Avoid opening another person to your blood or semen into a casual or physical meeting.

Lenalid (Lenalidomide) side effects

Get emergency medical help if you have symptoms of an allergic reaction (hives, a problem in breathing, swelling in your face or throat) or a hard skin reaction (fever, sore throat, burning in your eyes, skin pain, a red or purple skin rash).

Call your doctor at once if you have:

• Symptoms of a stroke or blood clot: sudden numbness or weakness, sharp headache, difficulties with speech or image, shortness of breath, swelling or redness in your arm or leg;
• Heart attack signs: chest pain or stress, pain scattering to your jaw or shoulder, sweating;
• Liver problems: upper stomach pain, loss of hunger, darkish urine, clay-colored stools, jaundice.
• Low blood cell counts: fever, chills, enlarged gums, mouth sores, skin sores, easy bruising, irregular bleeding;
• Signs of a tumor becoming worse: swollen organs, low fever, rash, or pain.
• Signs of tumor cell breakdown: lower back pain, blood in urine, light or no urinating; dullness or tingly feeling nearby your mouth; muscle dizziness or tightness; feeling short of breath; confusion, fainting.

Precautions for Lenalid

• Before using lenalid 10mg, tell your doctor if you are allergic to it, or thalidomide; or if you have any additional allergies. Lenalid may include inactive components (such as lactose), which can create allergic reactions or other difficulties. Talk to your doctor for more information.
• Before using Lenalid, tell your doctor or pharmacist your medical records, mainly of: kidney disease, liver infection (such as hepatitis B), thyroid disorder, chickenpox and shingles (herpes zoster infection), organ transplanting.
• Lenalidomide 10 mg capsule may get you dizzy. Alcohol or marijuana (cannabis) can make you dizzier. Do not drives, utilize machinery, or do anything that needs attentiveness until you can do it harmlessly. Limit alcoholic drinks. Talk to your doctor if you are using a drug.
• Lenalidomide can make you more suitable to get infections or may worsen any current diseases. Avoid meeting with people who have infections that may spread to others (such as chickenpox, measles, and flu). 
• Do not have immunizations/injections without the permission of your doctor. Avoid contact with people who have freshly received live vaccines (such as flu vaccine sniffed through the nose).

• It is unknown if lenalidomide 25 mg passes into breast milk. Because of the possible risk to the newborn baby, breast-feeding while using this drug is not recommended. Advise your doctor before breast-feeding.

Lenalidomide dosing information

The dose of Lenalid will be different for different patients. Follow your doctor's rules or the directions on the label. The following information includes only the common doses of lenalidomide. If your dose is modified, do not replace it unless your doctor tells you to do so.
