  • Take medicine at the same time every day.

  • You take lenalidomide every day for three weeks and then have a break for one week. This is one cycle of treatment. Then you start the next period.

  • Use birth control to stop pregnancy, whether you are a man or a woman. For women: Use two forms of birth control beginning four weeks before you start taking buy lenalidomide and ending four weeks after you stop taking it. For men: Use a condom to stop pregnancy through your treatment, and for up to 4 weeks after your treatment ends.

Lenalid (Lenalidomide) side effects

Call your doctor at once if you have:
  • Symptoms of a stroke or blood clot: sudden numbness or weakness, sharp headache, difficulties with speech or image, shortness of breath, swelling or redness in your arm or leg;
  • Heart attack signs: chest pain or stress, pain scattering to your jaw or shoulder, sweating;
  • Liver problems: upper stomach pain, loss of hunger, darkish urine, clay-colored stools, jaundice.
  • Low blood cell counts: fever, chills, enlarged gums, mouth sores, skin sores, easy bruising, irregular bleeding;
  • Signs of a tumor becoming worse: swollen organs, low fever, rash, or pain.
  • Signs of tumor cell breakdown: lower back pain, blood in urine, light or no urinating; dullness or tingly feeling nearby your mouth; muscle dizziness or tightness; feeling short of breath; confusion, fainting.

Precautions for Lenalid

  • Before using lenalid 10mg, tell your doctor if you are allergic to it, or thalidomide; or if you have any additional allergies. Lenalid may include inactive components (such as lactose), which can create allergic reactions or other difficulties. Talk to your doctor for more information.
  • Before using Lenalid, tell your doctor or pharmacist your medical records, mainly of: kidney disease, liver infection (such as hepatitis B), thyroid disorder, chickenpox and shingles (herpes zoster infection), organ transplanting.
  • Lenalidomide 10 mg capsule may get you dizzy. Alcohol or marijuana (cannabis) can make you dizzier. Do not drives, utilize machinery, or do anything that needs attentiveness until you can do it harmlessly. Limit alcoholic drinks. Talk to your doctor if you are using a drug.
